Anweisungen

• 1 - Chill Glass:
  Place serving glasses in freezer or fill with ice water to chill.
• 2 - Prep Oak-Smoked Syrup:
  Infuse simple syrup with charred oak chips for at least 5 minutes, strain and set aside. Can be made ahead.
• 3 - Mix Cocktail:
  In a cocktail mixing glass, combine whisky, apple juice, oak-smoked syrup, and bitters. Add crystal ice and gently stir for 20 seconds until chilled.
• 4 - Strain and Serve:
  Discard ice from glasses. Strain the cocktail into rocks glasses over fresh large ice cubes.
• 5 - Garnish:
  Express oils from a lemon peel twist over the drink. Garnish with lemon peel and fresh thyme sprig for aroma.
