• 1 - Prepare Lemons:
  Wash the lemons thoroughly and use a peeler to remove the zest, avoiding the bitter white pith.
• 2 - Infuse Vodka:
  Place the lemon zest in a jar and cover it with vodka. Seal tightly and let it infuse for at least 7 days in a dark, cool place.
• 3 - Make Simple Syrup:
  In a saucepan, combine sugar and water. Heat until sugar dissolves completely. Let it cool.
• 4 - Combine and Strain:
  After the infusion period, strain the lemon zest from the vodka and mix with the cooled simple syrup.
• 5 - Bottle and Chill:
  Pour the limoncello into clean bottles, seal, and refrigerate. It’s best served chilled.
