• 1 - Heat Apple Cider:
  In a saucepan, combine the apple cider, cinnamon sticks, cloves, and star anise. Gently heat over low heat, avoiding boiling, to infuse the spices for about 5 minutes.
• 2 - Sweeten and Add Lemon:
  Stir in honey until dissolved. Add fresh lemon juice to balance the sweetness and bring freshness to the brew.
• 3 - Add Scotch Whisky:
  Remove the cider from heat and slowly mix in the smoky Scotch whisky to retain the aromas and smoky character.
• 4 - Prepare Glasses:
  Optional: Rub rim of glasses with lemon juice and dip into smoked sea salt for a smoky, savory rim. Place one cinnamon stick in each glass for garnish.
• 5 - Serve Warm:
  Pour the infused cider and whisky mixture into prepared glasses. Serve warm immediately for a comforting autumn cocktail experience.
