Instructions

• 1 - Brew and Cool the Tea:
  Steep Earl Grey tea strongly (double quantity tea bags or leaves), and let it cool completely. Set aside.
• 2 - Prepare Shaker:
  Add dark spiced rum, cooled Earl Grey tea, lime juice, orange marmalade, honey (if using), star anise, and Angostura bitters to a cocktail shaker.
• 3 - Shake Vigorously:
  Add several ice cubes, seal the shaker, and shake well for 30 seconds to combine and chill the blend.
• 4 - Strain and Serve:
  Strain into two chilled large glasses filled with fresh ice cubes.
• 5 - Garnish and Present:
  Twist and express orange peel over each drink; drop into glass. Optionally, add a sprig of mint or a stirred star anise as a dramatic touch.
