1 - Infuse the Walnuts and Raisins:
Lightly toast the walnuts in a dry skillet until aromatic. Place toasted walnuts and raisins in a small saucepan with cinnamon and cardamom pods. Add pomegranate juice and simmer gently for 5 minutes to infuse. -
2 - Prepare the Cocktail Base:
Strain the infused pomegranate juice mixture to remove solids. Stir in honey and lemon juice until dissolved. Let the mixture cool slightly. -
3 - Mix in Spirits and Serve:
Fill cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Add the cooled spiced juice and Turkish raki. Shake gently to combine and chill. Strain into two chilled cocktail glasses, garnish each with fresh mint leaves, and a few toasted walnut halves if desired.
