• 1 - Prepare espresso:
  Brew a strong double shot of espresso using your espresso machine or stovetop espresso maker until hot and aromatic.
• 2 - Muddle Mint and Sugar:
  In a shaker, place fresh mint leaves and optional sugar. Gently muddle to release mint oils without tearing leaves.
• 3 - Combine Ingredients:
  Add dark chocolate syrup, brewed espresso, whole milk, and crushed ice to the shaker with muddled mint. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds.
• 4 - Strain and Serve:
  Using a fine mesh strainer, pour the cocktail mixture into two chilled glasses filled halfway with fresh ice.
• 5 - Top with Cream:
  Lightly whip the heavy cream to soft peaks and gently float it atop each glass to create a frothy layer.
• 6 - Garnish and Enjoy:
